Finance Communications Business Partner
Job Description

As the the Financial Communications Leader you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive communications strategies aligned with Philips’ overarching goals. You will drive the integrated strategies, guides content creation and management, optimizing distribution strategies for maximum impact. You will lead to operational communications goals for organizational success, influence strategic decisions and resolve complex issues using critical thinking.

Your role:

  • You will lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial communications strategies that align with Philips’ overarching culture, goals and values, ensuring all initiatives support the company's vision.

  • You will partner the Chief Finance Officer and the Finance Leadership Team on internal communications to the global function ensuring that employees are kept up to date and engaged on functional and business topics.

  • You will interact regularly with executives and/or major stakeholders, leveraging special skills such as negotiating, cross-functional alignment planning, and influencing senior leaders on significant matters.

  • You will drive the planning and execution of integrated communications strategies, ensuring the seamless implementation of global and Finance campaigns that effectively reach and engage target audiences.

  • You will guide the creation/create messages, content, talking points and presentations on behalf of the CFO for internal channels (Viva Engage, Global Town Hall, Global Finance webcasts, etc.) and speaking engagements. You will oversee and ensure the consistency across communication channels, maintaining a unified and recognizable tone of voice.

  • You will facilitate cross-functional collaboration with key departments such as People Function, Government Affairs, Investor Relations, and other functions to synchronize communication efforts and maintain unified messaging.

  • You will work in partnership with the external communications team on wider business context via an external lens within business and financial markets.

  • You will coach and support professional development of your colleagues and ensure the team's success.

  • You will manage budget allocation and resource planning to ensure efficient execution of communication and brand activities, maximizing return on investment and achieving strategic goals. You will evaluate the effectiveness of communications initiatives and proactively drive continuous improvement to optimize outcomes and support organisational objectives.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have 8 + years of proven experience in external/internal communication combined with business partnering at a very senior, C-suite level within a global, international organizations preferably in healthcare or technology domains.

  • You have financial background/ consultancy experience with a deep understanding of business operations and strategy – as strong asset.

  • You have deep, proven ability to build trusted relationships with the senior stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert and guiding others through change.

  • You have strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution; You are flexible and adaptable to changing realities.

  • You demonstrate ability to support, coach, and develop teams, fostering consistency, shared goals, and objectives.

  • You have positive energy and genuine enjoyment of the work, contributing to team atmosphere.

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Brand Management, or equivalent.
