As HR Director, you will have the opportunity to help shape an international organization from the ground up. Reporting to the COO, you will be part of the leadership team and play a central role in bringing structure, culture, and direction to the HR function across the group.
Your key responsibility is to shape and strengthen the organizational culture by defining core values and building connection between teams across sites and countries. You will design and implement modern HR processes and tools, including performance management, compensation & benefits, talent development and culture assessment.
You will work closely with local HR teams in the Netherlands and Ireland, support line management with both operational and strategic HR matters, and maintain strong visibility and engagement across all sites. In this role, you combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in an evolving, international business.
Key focus areas
- Develop an integrated HR strategy for a growing international organization.
- Build culture, core values, and collaboration across locations.
- Guide growth, change, and professionalization.
- Strengthen processes related to safety, training, performance, and development.
- Act as a strategic sparring partner to the executive team and site management.
- Cooperate closely with local HR departments and operational leadership.
Hybrid working is possible, but regular travel is expected, including several days per month in Ireland.

You are an experienced and down-to-earth HR Professional who enjoys building, connecting, and giving direction. You appreciate the personal side of a family-owned business, yet bring the experience, structure, and vision needed for a fast-growing international organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of broad HR experience.
- Proven experience in reorganizations, change management, and culture development.
- A strong track record in developing and implementing HR frameworks and tools.
- Understanding of both family-owned and corporate environments.
- A pragmatic, hands-on, and people-oriented approach helps you keep things simple and effective.
- The ability to think strategically and act operationally.
- International mindset and fluency in English (OneFrio’s working language).
- Full-time availability (40 hours) and willingness to travel regularly to various Dutch sites (Apeldoorn, Tiel, Kerkdriel) and to Ireland.
