Mechanical Equipment We are looking for a proactive and innovative Technical Inspector (Mechanical) to join the Technical Department of an internationally operating offshore organization. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining, repairing, and upgrading a diverse fleet of vessels, equipment, and yard facilities. The department focuses on delivering high-quality technical support both onshore and offshore, while continuously improving sustainability, efficiency, and compliance with evolving industry standards and regulations. As a Technical Inspector, you will work within a multidisciplinary team responsible for the day-to-day technical management of vessels and assets. You will also participate in company-wide improvement initiatives and oversee various technical projects, including maintenance campaigns, dry dockings, and investment projects.Coordinate and supervise the maintenance and repair activities for designated vessels in close cooperation with the Technical Superintendents.
Ensure compliance with internal management systems as well as all relevant regulations from flag states, classification societies, IMO, and other authorities.
Drive and support continuous improvement efforts within the technical organization.
Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies, classification agencies, and other external parties when needed.
Maintain accurate technical records, documentation, and operational history of vessels and equipment.
Identify opportunities for implementing new sustainable technologies and prepare supporting investment proposals.
Take responsibility for the daily technical operations and performance of assigned assets.
Manage technical projects from planning to execution, including budget monitoring and reporting.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in offshore, dredging, construction, or shipbuilding industries.
Solid understanding of classification society standards, IMO regulations, and other applicable rules.
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 20% of the time.
- Competitive salary, €4.500 – €5.500 per month, depending on experience
