Production Planner

At SanoRice, we are looking for a Production Planner who thrives in a dynamic production environment. Someone who can switch gears quickly, dares to set priorities, and knows how to find the right balance between customer demand, capacity, and available materials every single day.

You will be working on a product that almost everyone knows from the supermarket: rice cakes. Behind every package lies a complex production process. Thanks to your planning, millions of rice cakes find their way to customers and consumers at home and abroad on time.

In this role, you are an important link within our factory. Thanks to your planning, the production lines run as efficiently as possible, our customers remain satisfied, and colleagues in production, customer service, and supply chain can rely on you.

No two days are the same. A breakdown, an urgent order, or a sudden capacity change? You assess the situation, weigh the options, and make decisions.

Your team
You will join a team of four planners within the Supply Chain department of SanoRice Netherlands. In addition to Supply Chain Planning, the department consists of Customer Service, Warehouse, and New Product Coordination. As a result, you will collaborate daily with various disciplines and have the opportunity to develop yourself broadly within Supply Chain.

The atmosphere within the team is informal, collegial, and down-to-earth. We help each other, think in solutions, and give each other the space to take responsibility. We work hard, but there is always time for a friendly chat with colleagues. You report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

What do we offer you?
In addition to a challenging position within an ambitious production environment, you can count on:

• A salary between €3,154.15 and €4,548.63 gross per month based on 36 hours per week, depending on your knowledge and experience. Moreover, you will benefit from a collective salary increase of 3% as of January 1, 2027;
• A one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment;
• 25 vacation days and the option to purchase up to 10 additional days; 8% holiday allowance;

Wat is jouw rol?

As a Production Planner, you are responsible for developing, monitoring, and adjusting the production schedule. In doing so, you continuously take customer orders, capacity, materials, and operational challenges into account.

Specifically, you will be involved with:

• Drawing up and maintaining the short-term production plan;
• Monitoring capacity, line utilization, and bottlenecks;
• Coordinating material availability;
• Responding to disruptions such as breakdowns, absenteeism, rush orders, and quality issues;
• Collaborate closely with production, customer service, purchasing, technical service, and quality;
• Monitoring KPIs such as OTIF, efficiency, line occupancy, and plan adherence;
• Providing support with product introductions, packaging changes, and phase-outs.

Initially, the focus is on short-term production planning. In the long term, you will have the opportunity to get to know other planning activities within the team. Through this form of job rotation, your role remains challenging and varied, and you develop yourself more broadly within Supply Chain.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced planner who is confident, available for at least 32 hours per week, and enjoys working in an environment where plans change regularly.

In addition, you have:

• A completed higher professional education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or similar, such as APICS;
• At least 3 years of experience in a planning role within a production environment;
• Experience within the food industry is a strong advantage;
• Knowledge of supply chain and planning processes;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Experience with ERP systems, planning software, and BI tools is a plus.
