E-House Engineer

Our client provides both products, systems, installations, and services. Their diverse range of offerings covers virtually all areas of electrical engineering and electronics. Dutch customers from the business sector can find comprehensive solutions from our client in the fields of Power and Gas, Wind Power and Renewables, and many other sectors.

You will work together with a team of (lead) engineers. The short delivery times and high demands from our customers are a guaranty for a dynamic project environment and execution. Part of the daily tasks will be your involvement in the project from concept to delivery, keeping in touch with our customers and E-house manufacturer locations. Site and factory visits will be part of your job and therefore travel will be required, for short periods, on a regular basis.
Following activities could fall into your roles and responsibilities:

• Generate detailed designs (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Investigate and advise on different subjects like: Mechanical or electrical interfacing, lay-outs, choice of components, fire safety, HVAC, electrical systems, cabling and containment, etc.
• Interfacing with your direct co-workers for low voltage, medium voltage and busbar systems.
• Review of basic designs, detailed designs and project related documentation.
• Proactively communicate with the customer and suppliers on project related aspects.
• Organize and attend factory acceptance tests (FAT).
• Prepare the technical documentation package.
• In-office support for the production and on-site delivery.
• Proper project closing and handover.
• Initiate and execute process, product and project improvements.

Your background:

• Bachelor degree or a Master degree, with at least 3 years of experience. Education: Electrical engineering and power engineering
• Precise, positive, critical and a broad technical interest.
• Flexible working attitude, hands-on and result driven.
• Good communicator, not scared to ask the difficult questions and always eager to learn more.
• Fluent in English, basic Dutch or willing to learn.
• Driver license.
