Junior Logistics Planner

We have a great full-time position as a Junior Logistics Planner at an international logistics organization specializing in the secure transportation and handling of valuable and luxury goods.

In this role, you will be an important link between drivers, customers, internal departments and logistics partners. You will monitor the planning, process transport orders and make sure everyone has the right information at the right time.

You will work in a professional, international and dynamic environment where accuracy, service and the ability to respond quickly are important.

What will you do?

As a Junior Logistics Planner, you will support the daily planning and coordination of transports. Your responsibilities will include:

● Planning and assigning trips to drivers;
● Booking and registering transport orders in various systems;
● Checking the availability of drivers and vehicles;
● Processing orders and transport data in ERP and TMS systems;
● Checking transport documentation;
● Processing and following up on Proof of Delivery (POD);
● Providing drivers with information about loading locations, times and specific instructions;
● Keeping customers and internal departments informed about the status of shipments;
● Responding quickly to delays, traffic issues or other unexpected situations;
● Maintaining contact with logistics partners and other parties involved.

You will receive proper training and have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills in transport planning. You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will guide you through the different processes and systems.

Experience in logistics or transport is a plus.

● A salary between €2,750 and €2,950 gross per month, depending on your experience;

● You have MBO-level education and working ability;
● You already have some experience in transport planning;
● You work in an organized and accurate manner;
● You have good computer skills and are able to learn new systems quickly;
● You have a very good command of English.
