As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable activities, ensuring invoices, payments and reconciliations are processed accurately and on time. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the smooth running of the finance operation.
Description
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a key role within a growing international finance team. In addition to managing day-to-day Accounts Payable activities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and optimisation of finance processes as the organisation continues to evolve.
This position offers a unique combination of operational responsibility and the opportunity to help build structure within a developing finance function. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business and be encouraged to bring ideas, challenge existing processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Process and verify supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and execute payment runs
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor master data and ensure data accuracy
- Support month-end closing activities
- Manage supplier queries and build strong stakeholder relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues across different departments and international locations
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline Accounts Payable processes
- Support the ongoing development and professionalisation of the finance function
- Contribute ideas and best practices to help build scalable and efficient financial processes
Profile
Ideal candidate:
- Minimum 4 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience working in an international environment
- Hands-on and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and take ownership
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
Requirements:
- Hands-on NetSuite experience is mandatory
- Strong Excel skills
- Available to start in the short term
- Available full-time (40 hours per week)
