Assembly Technician Cables

As an Assembly Technician Cables, you will work full-time at a modern high-tech company in Eindhoven. You will prepare, assemble, and bundle cables used in advanced machinery and electrical systems. You will work day shifts in a clean, well-organized environment where precision and quality are essential.

The cable assembly department offers different types of work. Depending on your experience and skills, you may work with larger, heavier cables or smaller, more delicate components.

In heavy cable assembly, you will work with thick and sometimes heavy cables. You will prepare cable ends, install electrical connectors, and solder connections when necessary. This involves using various tools and requires sufficient hand strength. In fine cable assembly, you will work with very small cables and components, requiring steady hands, good fine motor skills, and excellent precision.

There is also a cable bundling department. Here, you will carefully measure cables, cut them to the correct length, and bundle them together using cable ties. This work is less physically demanding but requires concentration and accuracy, as measurements must be precise down to the millimetre.

You will follow technical drawings and clear work instructions. You will have your own workstation with a computer screen and carefully inspect your work. Any defects identified during visual or electrical testing will be corrected when necessary. You will work alongside your colleagues and receive the guidance needed to become confident in your tasks.

• A gross monthly salary between €2,810 and €3,200, depending on your experience
• An impressive 40 days off per year, including additional leave (ADV)
• A full-time position on day shifts, with flexible starting times between 07:00 and 08:30
• A direct contract with the company for a minimum of 7 months

• Relevant experience in assembly or a completed MBO level 2 qualification in a technical field
• A precise working style with a strong focus on quality
• Good practical skills and preferably experience using hand tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to read technical drawings or willingness to learn
• Good command of Dutch and/or English
