Teamleader Maintenance & Repair

• Minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience within a production, assembly, or technical environment
• Experience with Lean, 5S, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
• Good command of both Dutch and English
• Experience with team leadership and workforce planning
• Willingness to work in a two-shift operation
• Knowledge of safety and quality procedures within a manufacturing environment

Within our Tech Repair department, we ensure that high-value components and systems meet customer specifications again after use, maintenance, or repair. As the department continues to grow, we are looking for a Team Lead who can provide daily direction to the team and help maintain a stable and efficient operation.

In this role, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 10 to 20 employees. You will spend most of your time on the shop floor, monitoring daily operations, coordinating priorities, and ensuring that quality and safety standards are consistently met. When issues arise, you take action, remove obstacles, and support your team in finding practical solutions.

You act as the link between the operation and management. Together with fellow Team Leads, planners, and support departments, you ensure work is completed according to plan and customer commitments are met. Success in this role means creating an environment where the team can work efficiently, operational targets are achieved, and employees have the clarity and support they need to perform at their best.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 to 20 employees on a daily basis
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and delivery performance within the department
• Coordinate and adjust workforce and capacity planning where needed
• Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and absence-related discussions
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks on the shop floor
• Initiate and drive continuous improvement activities using Lean and 5S principles
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and other operational teams to ensure smooth execution of daily activities

You will join a team where technology, quality, and collaboration are at the heart of daily operations. The department consists of operators, technicians, and other operational colleagues responsible for processing, inspecting, repairing, and preparing high-value components for international customers.

As a Team Lead, you will work closely with fellow Team Leads, the Team Manager, planners, and colleagues from Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain. Communication lines are short, and many decisions are made close to the operation. We expect you to be visible on the shop floor, understand what is happening within the process, and provide support where needed.
