Do you hold a CE driving licence, a valid Code 95 qualification and a digital tachograph driver card? Are you looking for a truck driving job in Rotterdam where you can work independently on the road? Banenstein Personeelsdiensten is recruiting a CE truck driver for a transport company operating nationally and internationally.

You will make sure goods arrive safely and on time. You will stay in touch with the planning team, handle your cargo carefully and act as the customer’s point of contact during deliveries and collections.

Banenstein handles the recruitment process. If you are successfully matched, you will be employed directly by our client.

You will transport goods using a CE-category truck combination. Before setting off, you will check your vehicle and load, then carry out your transport assignments according to the schedule.

• Transport and deliver goods to the agreed destinations.
• Check the cargo, transport documents and load securing.
• Complete deliveries and collections according to the schedule.
• Notify customers on arrival and handle the handover.
• Keep the planning team informed about the progress of your trips.
• Report delays, discrepancies or damage promptly.
• Check your truck and take good care of the vehicle and equipment.

Transport workloads can vary from week to week. It is therefore important that you are flexible about your working times and the number of hours you work.

Although it does not happen often, you may occasionally work 32 hours instead of 40 in a week. During a busy week, this may increase to around 50 hours. You should be comfortable with both shorter and longer working weeks.

Contracted hours, working times and arrangements for additional hours or hours below your contracted total will be discussed with you in advance.
