You will closely collaborate with the central privacy team. More specifically you will support the Operating Companies (OpCos) in handling personal data well.

Act as a business partner for the Privacy Champions / marketing colleagues

• Advise business units on a day-to-day basis (e.g. on use of cookies, consent etc.);
• Build and support a global Privacy Champion community;
• Maintenance of corporate standards and policies on the use of B2C and B2B data.

Awareness and Training
Ensure colleagues are equipped to use data efficiently and correctly by:

•  Initiating and providing regular training to colleagues in different locations;
• Creating awareness about the topic and new developments within the (digital) marketing and privacy area.

Registration of Processing Activities & Master DPIA

• Get an overview of (global) data processing activities in which B2C and B2B data is used;
• Register processing activities in ROPA;
• Execute Master Data Protection Impact Assessments;
• Advise local Privacy Champions on ROPA registrations and DPIAs.

Coordinate Privacy & Data Protection Improvement Projects

• Maintain an overview of the status of compliance and awareness towards Privacy within the B2C & B2B data community globally;
• Initiate improvements based on status, legal requirements and the company's ambition.

Other

• Coordinate data breaches when needed;
• Active membership and participation in the Privacy Office;
• Act as a positive business enabler. Show the OpCos why privacy is important and how it contributes to business development.

Gevraagd

• Senior expert in the field of Privacy and Data Protection;
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach to privacy;
• Self-starter: you will have to find your way into the OpCos to get a clear image of what personal data is used and what it’s used for;
• Excellent (senior) stakeholder management skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Project management skills and experience;
• Familiarity with privacy regulations and requirements (like GDPR), as well as professional privacy certification(s) (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM) is a plus;
• Great understanding of marketing processes and how personal data is used in those;
• Experience with advising on legal privacy practices related to marketing, like consent, cookies, etc;
• Experience in an international organization is preferred.

Aanbod

We can offer an hourly rate between € 90 and € 100 euros/hour including travel costs, excluding VAT.

We are looking for a Interim Privacy Counsel, who supports the businesses globally in handling B2C and B2B data the right way!
