Internship - Commerce Digital & Technology

The internship

  During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Ofcourse always with the guidance that is right for you.

You will collaborate closely with our HR team to streamline the hiring process and ensure high-quality talent acquisition. Plus, you'll get to learn more about DevOps and how modern teams build and run software together.. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both HR and DevOps domains, making it an ideal position for individuals eager to expand their skill set in a fast-paced environment.

The department

Our dream at HEINEKEN is to help our customers grow by serving them better, faster and smarter with digital solutions. To do so, we created a brand-new E-Business team that combines a portfolio of solutions and services to meet the needs and solve the pain points of our customers. The HEINEKEN E-Business team is where product teams, Global Sales, Digital & Technology, as well as our Operating Companies work together in an agile way, break through classical silos and adopt new ways of working.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1 May 2024
• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
• The duration of the internship is 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based Amsterdam/Hybrid
• Working from home/hybrid working is possible
• You will receive an internship fee of €500  gross pm based on 40 hours per week
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

We are looking for someone with an agile mindset who can easily work in changing conditions and collaborate with various people, cultures.

• Good communication skills, especially in English.
• Listening skills
• Understanding how technology interviews work and what to look for.

We believe that everyone has unique talents and are therefore looking for you!

• Basic understanding of DevOps (it's okay if you're not an expert!).
• An interest in learning about why and how software gets made and deployed
• An affinity with technology and agile culture

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
