As the communications expert in Global Chief Data Management Organization, you will play a crucial part in realization of our data strategy. Your role extends beyond traditional communication – it’s about making our data promises a reality while nurturing a culture of collaboration and inclusivity throughout ING Data Community. Your work will unite colleagues across +15 countries, ensuring a shared sense of purpose, strategic alignment, and a clear understanding of each individual’s role in advancing our data strategy.

Your key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to senior management, providing expert guidance and support.
• Drive the development and execution of our global data function's communication strategy, taking the lead on complex communication projects and ensuring their successful implementation.
• Translate our Data strategy and Data promises into compelling stories that inspires our data community, strengthening our brand reputation and fostering ambassadorship.
• Organize compelling global events that foster a profound sense of connection and purpose, driving enhanced organizational performance.
• Measure and analyse the effects of communication and continuously implementing improvements based on learnings gained

As a Communications Expert, we are looking for

• A versatile communications professional with a proven track record and a clear vision for leveraging internal and external communication to support organizational strategy.
• Creative and critical mindset with a passion for improving internal and external communication.
• Extensive experience advising senior management in a business environment.
• Strong expertise in corporate, internal, and external communications, change management, management communications, crisis management, and reputation management.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, taking ownership of projects and demonstrating a can-do attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Data-driven mindset with a focus on results.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a supportive and engaging environment.
