Internship - Mobile Software Engineer Amsterdam

We are looking for aMobileEngineering Internto join ourWholesale Banking - Digital Channels Tribe. Our tribe is responsible for the delivery of the primary digital touchpoints for all wholesale customers of ING globally.

What you'll do

You will work in an agile team of engineers, UX, and product following scrum methodologies to delivermobilefeatures.Your main focus will be on the development of mobile banking featuresusing primarily Flutter and Dart. The app has to be quality controlled by fully automated regression tests and unit tests. You will also work on enhancing tools, creating standards, and promoting best practices forall the othermobile engineers to produce the highest quality software products.In your role youwillhavedirectinfluence on customer satisfaction at ING and therefore it is of the highest importance thatyou will putcustomer’sinterestsfirst.

The level of expertise and experience withinourmobilefamilyis very high and theworking environment is very positiveandpleasant. We don’t forget to have fun while crafting our apps.

How to succeed

• Master or Bachelor student with a strong interest in Software Engineering
• Formerexperience inmobilenative application development(iOS/ Android/ Flutter) that can be demonstrated with a portfolio is a big plus
• Technical curiosity and attention to details
• Knowledge of git, JSON, web-services, REST, securityprinciples
• Proficient in English (written and verbal)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
