Beschrijving

You will be a team member of the Corporate Planning & Control team (CPC) , responsible for (amongst others):

• Group Costs and FTE analysis on a monthly basis, translating this analysis into clear conclusions and recommendations to senior management, as part of the monthly closing, quarterly updates and long-term financial plan. 
• Supporting the implementation of programs costs reporting, and monthly follow-up, including forecast and projections for future years.
• Data management within CPC team by creating and maintaining sourcing files for actuals, budgets and projections processes retrieving data from our main data sources, and assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations and reports to the Senior Management Team,
• Being the link between the different segments, CPC and IT colleagues relating to data and systems used by CPC.

You work in the Corporate Planning & Control team, which is part of Finance Controlling. The team is around 18 people and consists of young, ambitious professionals combined with experienced seniors and a leadership team that strongly believes in personal development. We have an open and trusted atmosphere with strong and fun team work in order to deliver high quality products to senior management. Given our central role in the management control cycle of ABN AMRO we work in close contact with other departments such as business CFOs, ALM, Investor Relations, Group Strategy and Risk Management.
You will join an environment of continuous learning both on a professional and personal level. You will get detailed insights in the strategy and financial performance of the bank and its business drivers with exposure to senior management.

Functie eisen

• Economics and/or Business administration at Master level or a similar post-graduate training
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proven deep knowledge of data analysis tools: advanced skills in Excel and Power BI. Experience with other tools will be appreciated.
• Structured way-of-working including documentation skills to support audit trails
• Fluent English, Dutch is a plus
• You are a pro-active driven and enthusiastic team player who strives to deliver high quality and has a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• You are curious and eager to learn beyond your own areas of responsibility

Traineeship via Finance Club 
For a whole year you will learn not only on the job but also through additional training sessions and courses facilitated entirely by the Finance Club. These include training sessions to further develop your substantive knowledge and also focus on soft skills development. Think of training in areas such as data, banking, planning and agenda management, stakeholder management and more. In consultation with you, our happy manager and your manager at ABN AMRO,we will tailor the optimal curriculum for you.

Salary: €3.750 per month
