E-MOTORS SIMULATION ENGINEER Brussel (BE)

As E-Motors Simulation Engineer, you ensure we have a thorough understanding of the e-motor through simulation in MotorCAD and you strive to optimize performance, NVH, efficiency, thermal capability and cost of each system. The focus is on the overall system (e-motor, power electronics, transmission, battery,…)

Your main task are:

• Benchmarking on e-motor technology and market directions
• Defining requirement specification of e-motors for electrified projects
• Cooperation with suppliers on finding the best solutions
• Simulation of e-machines in terms of performance, NVH, thermal aspects,…
• Contribution to the development of advanced and model-based control methods
• Supporting the development phases through risk assessment, validation, issue resolution,…
• Support industrialization phase of the project with core knowledge on e-machines

• Master’s in engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a function with e-motors as core content
• Eager to learn
• Structured
• Interest in all aspects of R&D, from initial idea to proof-of-concept demonstration
• You are fluent in English and knowledge of Dutch and/or German is a plus
