We are seeking a Young Professional Data Specialist to join TMC Data Science and contribute to the world of digital transformation. This role involves extracting valuable insights from complex datasets, cleaning and preparing data for analysis, and challenging business assumptions through fact-based analyses.

The mission of our Young Professional Data Specialist is to extract pragmatic and actionable insights from large and complex datasets. We understand that you may not know everything yet, as you have recently entered the job market. No problem! We offer a program that allows you to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice, along with coaching and continuous learning and development opportunities.

• Discover and combine (structured and unstructured) data;
• Clean and prepare data for processing, statistical analysis, and (predictive) modeling;
• Develop a deep understanding of the business problems stakeholders are facing;
• Transform data into information and insights;
• Engage stakeholders directly in your work to manage their expectations;
• Challenge business assumptions with fact-based analyses of business process data.

• You already live in The Netherlands or Belgium;
• You have an MSc or PhD in software engineering, computer science, (theoretical) physics, econometrics, statistics, scientific computing, bioinformatics, or a related field;
• Up to two years of work experience in the industry;
• Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
