Within the Development & Engineering safety department you facilitate and ensure that ASML is developing products that comply to regulations and customer requirements and ensure a safe work environment.


| YOUR CHALLENGES

As part of ASML’s drive to future proof their technical areas need to be 5S+1 compliant following the 5S methodology, sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain the cycle and safety. This results in continuous improvement of the technical areas to achieve a work environment that is inspiring and professional

Your mission as 5S1 coordinator is to contribute and facilitates 5S+1 improvement programs to create a culture of continuous improvement via 5S+1 methodology.

Key activities:

  • Perform audits on a daily basis in order to check the 5S+1 status in the R&D technical areas
  • Arrange follow-up with stakeholders to meet the 5S +1 compliance
  • Responsible for 5S+1 training set
  • Tracks, monitors, and reports regularly on 5S+1 status to all stakeholders;
  • Develops and communicates KPIs and dashboards for measurement of continuous improvement with stakeholders
  • Establishes collaborative relationships within and outside D&E and Research.
  • Supports and reviews plant processes, procedures and performance using evaluation tools and makes recommendations on improvement opportunities
  • Acts as D&E representative for 5S+1 in the Netherlands.
  • Aligns with standards & solutions already in use within ASML WW.

Education

  • Education (MBO /HBO) in technical engineering
  • Safety education MVK (middelbaar veiligheidskunde)

Personal Skills:

  • Safety minded
  • Proactive and takes initiatives within own area of expertise.
  • Is able to communicate clearly, concisely and directly to peers and customers.
  • Is able to convince others to make safety a priority especially to academic educated users of the test setups.
  • Keeps track on deadlines
  • Works independently and remains effective under workload pressure
  • Through a knowledge base of (technical) safety theories) is able to factually support his/her case.
  • Is creative in finding safety solutions in a wide variety of circumstances.

Skilled in verbal and written communication (English).
