TMC is seeking a talented and motivated System Engineer with a background in Physics or Mechanical Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology and will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of Single Particle Analysis workflows in the realm of biochemistry.

We are currently enlarging our group of engineers who assist our clients in the development and deployment of systems in various technical industries. We are looking for people who are challenged by the TMC Employeneurs model and who are looking for a further development of their career in a challenging environment.

| YOUR CHALLENGES?

• Support the Technical Lead by taking ownership of specific hardware functionalities.
• Conduct high-level troubleshooting from a hardware perspective to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with external designers to address design issues arising from application validation.
• Adjust system requirements based on the latest learnings and insights.
• Conduct integration testing to ensure seamless functionality of new modules.
• Identify and resolve manufacturability issues to optimize production processes.

Tasks:

1. Review and provide feedback on hardware designs.
2. Address and mitigate hardware limitations based on application requirements.
3. Ensure proper functionality of the overall system.
4. Collect evidence from application testing and report findings to the Architect.
   • Setup and review Test Response and Test Result documents.
   • Update System Test Documentation and System Design Documentation as necessary.
5. Provide support to test and verification engineers on system engineering matters.
6. Assist external hardware designers in interpreting application results to inform design decisions.
7. Conduct integration testing of new modules to ensure compatibility and performance.

| WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in system engineering, preferably in a high-tech or biotechnology environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Prior experience with Single Particle Analysis workflows is a plus.
