Build prototypes for the latest sustainable energy solutions. You can do that as an Assembly Technician at Intercel in Haarlem. You will do this together with enthusiastic and committed colleagues. In addition, being appreciated is also very important. You also have the option to work part time.

Together with your team you will work on building battery solutions in every conceivable area. Whether it concerns a complete battery system for an emergency power supply, a special charger for batteries in military projects or a custom battery for a robot. They invent and build a solution for every possibility. Nothing is too crazy. This is what makes your work fun and diverse.

Your work includes:

• assembling and installing battery systems.
  
• performing measurements and analyses.
  
• thinking along about product improvements.
  
• performing maintenance, repairs and battery replacement.

Intercel started the company 30 years ago and has grown into a full-service supplier focused on battery systems, batteries, chargers and energy systems. The demand for batteries is only increasing. This means that you will work in an economy-proof market.

You will work in the ‘Custom batteries’ department within a close-knit team of 3 assembly technicians. Your colleagues are willing to help each other and are able to come up with good, quick solutions for the customer. After a busy week, there is time for relaxation on Friday afternoon to celebrate the successes together. And they have a joint, well cared for, lunch. In addition, they go on a skiing holiday together every year and there are several outings per year. In short, a nice and collegial organization where appreciation is very important.

The ideal Assembly Technician for this position is someone with:

• interest in fine electronics.
  
• able to read electrical drawings.
  
• several years of work experience in the electrical field.
  
• willingness to continue to develop yourself by attending trainings and courses.
