Job description: As a Senior Broadcast Engineer you will play a central role in shaping the future of broadcasting technology while working closely with renowned industry partners. • Collaborating with valued partners such as KPN, CNN, Disney, Telenet, Ziggo, Discovery Networks, BBC and others to deliver innovative broadcast solutions throughout the Benelux.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers and encourage a culture of continuous learning and development through seminars, workshops and training programs.
• Provide career guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and encourage their professional growth within the organization.
• Contribute to the company's remarkable growth trajectory by lending your expertise to technical advancements and business development initiatives.
• Work closely with a small, close-knit team and provide a supportive and collaborative environment, both in and outside the workplace, through social outings and team building activities.
• Take opportunities to connect with major broadcasters and attend industry events to stay up to date on the latest technology trends and network with industry professionals.

Gevraagd

• Extensive experience in broadcast engineering, with a thorough knowledge of technologies such as Broadcast over IP. Multicast protocols such as PIM, PIM & IGMP
• Demonstrated success in deploying and managing broadcasting solutions in high-pressure live TV environments - IPTV, OTT Streaming etc.
• Strong proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including but not limited to IP routing, multicast routing, VLANs and BGP.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrable experience as a manager, with a passion for developing and guiding junior engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
