We are looking for a Lead Engineer Structural to oversee the design and analysis of offshore structures, ensuring their integrity and reliability under various environmental conditions.

Tasks & responsibilities: 

• Lead project teams through the entire lifecycle of offshore engineering projects from concept to implementation. 
• Conduct structural analysis using advanced simulation tools to evaluate designs under various environmental conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international engineering standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and marine engineers, to integrate structural designs with other systems. 
• Manage the development and implementation of innovative structural solutions to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of offshore energy projects.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technical staff. 
• Participate in research and development activities to advance offshore engineering practices and technologies. 
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and project presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and regulatory changes affecting offshore structural engineering.

Gevraagd

• Relevant experience in offshore engineering, structural design, or related fields, demonstrating a strong technical background and the ability to guide complex projects to completion.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external project stakeholders. 
• Strong organisational skills, with a knack for effectively managing and distributing project information. 
• Highly motivated personality with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing. While fluency in Dutch is not required, it is highly desirable, along with willingness to learn. 
• Commitment to professional development and staying ahead of industry trends and technologies.
