We are looking for a Structural Engineer Topsides to lead the design and analysis of offshore topside structures for FPSO and FLNG projects. You will play an integral role in providing technical support and overseeing the structural engineering team on significant offshore projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Lead the Structural Topside team on large offshore projects as the Discipline Lead Engineer.
• Perform structural design of Topside facilities for tanker conversions and new build hulls of FPSO and FLNG projects.
• Provide technical support and consultation to the discipline and project on complex structural engineering problems. 
• Support the Technology Development department for FPSO, FLNG, and Renewable product lines in introducing new products and technology to the market.
• Make structural design calculations for offshore topside structures such as FPSO topsides modules, flare towers, and hull integrations.
• Use Finite Element software (GeniE, Femap), in-house developed software, or hand calculations for design calculations.
• Lead the Structural Topsides team as a Discipline Lead Engineer (DLE) on projects, overseeing design calculations, 3D modeling, construction drawings, and MTOs for offshore structures.
• Interface with clients, project management, other disciplines, procurement, construction, classification bureaus, and subcontractors.

Gevraagd

• Master's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional certification in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore, or Naval Engineering with a specialisation in structural analysis of offshore topside structures.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in structural offshore engineering, with at least 4 years in a leading role.
• In-depth experience and sound technical knowledge of structural analysis of topside structures in conceptual, basic, and detailed design. 
• Experience in Engineering & Design of topside facilities for floating production units (FSOs, FPSOs, FLMGs) in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Good understanding of structural interfaces with related disciplines such as piping, topside integration, and other equipment integrations.
• Familiarity with rules of classifications societies and experience with structural design software such as GeniE, SACS, and Staad Pro.
• Professional in team management, demonstrating good initiative, creative thinking, and the ability to develop new designs and concepts. 
• Willingness to travel to other countries in South Asia and construction yards as required.
