Electric driving is the future. The demand for electric vehicles is rising exponentially. And so is the requirement to organize the infrastructure around it. How will the charging be regulated? Who pays for it? Where does the power come from? You can have a say in that. But do you dare to do that?

Since the advent of electric cars, a major change has been taking place. Combustion engines are becoming obsolete and driving on (green) electricity is growing every year. To charge all those cars, you need charging stations. But if different companies supply the city with charging stations and with power, who keeps track?

This company knows how to manage that. It offers solutions in the huge spider web world of charging stations, energy transactions, and smart cities. They do this by connecting the dots between CPO’s, eMSP’s and other parties involved. Their SaaS platforms are unique and state-of-the-art.

You are not just building software, you are shaping the future of a white-label SaaS platform! Your role involves engaging in the full life cycle of the products. You work on developing new features and the architecture. Besides, you will identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs and optimize the applications. But wait, there's more! You also manage the five developers that are in the team! Furthermore, you introduce new components and systems into the IT landscape, aiming to improve performance, quality and user experience. Additionally, you work with other teams to make the platform better overall and expand it to handle increasing needs!

Yes, that sounds like me! What skills do I need?

You got what it takes! With a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or something similar, you have a strong technical background. You have at least 4 years of experience in the position of Backend Software Engineer in an agile organisation. Besides Dutch and English, you are fluent in PHP and SQL. Also, you know the art of working with queues and Docker. And hey, if you're skilled in Symfony, CI/CD, and DevOps, that's a bonus! You excel at breaking down large, outdated systems, transforming them into sleek and efficient macro-services. Furthermore, you enjoy a lively and evolving environment. You are proactive and always eager to learn, making self-improvement a regular part of your journey!
