We develop, innovate and realise systems, from idea to functional model, prototype or high-quality production system. We are growing fast and in order to continue this growth we are looking for an electrical engineer.

General Overview
As electrical engineer you are working together in a multidisciplinary team. You are responsible for the engineering of the electrical part of the system and you work in close collaboration with i.a. mechanical and software engineers to ensure high quality of the product that is engineered. You make use of the modular architecture that Etteplan uses for developing products and also have a role in the development of this architecture.

Responsibilities

• Designs the electrical schematics according to the machine/product specifications, requirements and architecture;
• Determines, validates and evaluates the necessary electrical components (PLC, safety components, motion system, IO) according the specifications;
• Writes and manages the Technical Product documentation (TPD), including test specifications, manuals and instructions;
• Is able to calculate and estimate the required hours and components costs to develop a machine or product during the quotation and realization phases of the project;
• Defines, documents and maintains the electrical design standards for the modular architecture;
• Assures quality, service-friendliness and reliability of the systems;
• Takes care that the system is designed according to the relevant standards;
• Assists in and also carries out the realisation & measurements of the electrical part of the system.

Competencies

• Background in Electrical Engineering;
• Any experience in Electrical Engineering of industrial systems in EPLAN Electrical P8;
• Practical knowledge of assembling, configuring, testing and troubleshooting;
• Result oriented;
• Communicative, able to communicate to the point and is able to give and receive feedback;
• Pro-active;
• Oral and written knowledge of the Dutch and English language.

A temporary contract which will be converted to a permanent contract upon good performance.
