Senior Backend .NET Developer Utrecht

Our partner is an HR-tech SaaS organization founded 10 years ago. The office is located in Utrecht. Currently, 35 people work in the organization. They have built an online application, a product that provides employees from different companies with a clear overview when it comes to conversations that need to be conducted, evaluations, feedback with employees, etc. It is an in-house product that is actively being developed.

Our partner's clients consider the application to be a very user-friendly tool. Our partner has 400 different clients, such as Louwman, SPAR, and the KNVB. The clients have 50+ to 4k+ employees. The challenge lies in the fact that each client naturally needs to use the product in a different way due to the difference in the number of employees. They operate with a monthly license fee; most clients subscribe for 3 years. The major HR packages have different modules, and as a client, you can make your selection. This is an informal organization where everyone collaborates in a fun way and can joke around. At the same time, many enjoyable activities take place, and everyone gathers regularly, with a larger outing planned every quarter.

The IT department consists of 12 individuals, including developers, designers, QA engineers, testers, and a product owner. They are all divided into two teams. Most days, you will work with 3 others on a specific module. Currently, they are working on the backend with .NET.

Your responsibilities will include guiding and coaching juniors, working on the architecture, setting up projects and products from scratch, shaping them, contributing to solving complex problems, and, of course, coding. They heavily emphasize unit testing and end-to-end testing. SOLID principles are also integral to their workflow. Sprints last three weeks, and in these cycles, you will build new features and enhance their online platform based on customer feedback.

A significant Unique Selling Point (USP) is that there is ample room for individual input and initiatives to improve processes, write high-quality code, and considerable space for personal development, given that development is their primary focus.

• At least 5+ years of experience in the development
• Experience with .NET
• Experience with C#
• Experience with Unit Testing

A gross annual salary of up to €60k, a comprehensive secondary package with a good pension plan. You also have the flexibility to work from home a lot; the minimum number of days you need to be present in the office is 1 to 2 days per week!
