who are you

Would you like to see your finished product go out the door yourself and thus contribute to the construction of the latest buses and trucks? Are you precise, do you like variety and are you looking for a job with security? Then read on quickly!

• You can work independently;
• preferably have experience with reading technical drawings;
• you are in possession of a level 2 diploma or are welding on this level;
• you have experience in working with steel.

what will you do

You will be working at VDL Bus as a welder. You will be responsible for welding and assembling submodules, which will eventually be assembled into chassis. This assembly is done by your colleagues in the assembly department in the same hall, so you see your end product leave the door!

You work within a team of about 20 people, you have a spacious workplace where you can do your own thing. Because you can change your workplace, you have enough variety in your work as well as independence. In addition, we try to make a nice mix of products so that you also have diversity.

A lot of time and energy is invested in your development with the result that career advancement within positions at VDL happens very regularly. A next step, for example, could be a stand specialist within the welding department, but moving to other departments is also possible.

where will you work
