For our client, Belden an international, manufacturing company in Venlo, we are looking for an enthusiastic

Accounts Payable Specialist who possesses a high integrity level.

Belden is lookout for an exceptional Accounts Payable Specialist to lead the charge in their assigned areas, spanning diverse businesses, brands, and geographical regions. Together with your 6 direct colleagues, this is your chance to showcase your expertise as you become the guardian of compliance, the maestro of daily disbursement, and the powerhouse of up-to-date financial information.

What you'll do?

As Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of financial excellence, ensuring that their company's standard processes for NA & EMEA Shared Services Accounts Payable operations are meticulously upheld. Your scope includes overseeing every facet of daily disbursement management, creating a symphony of efficiency that resonates throughout our organization. In this role you report directly to the Team Lead EMEA Shared Services – Accounts Payable.

How you make a difference

  • Processes incoming invoices via Basware and Docflow and ensure a correct coding of all invoices;
  • Chases the approvers to ensure a timely posting of the invoices, in order to meet the payment selection done by the Cash Department;
  • Prepare cash flow Forecasts on a weekly base and RCCM;
  • Assist the Finance department on other financial issues;
  • Maintain contact and support the suppliers and external/internal customers via mail or telephone;
  • Actively participate into Month-end closure activities;
  • Clearing sub-ledgers;
  • Check and distribute all incoming post and emails;
  • Make sure that the master data is up to date and request corrections if needed.

Function requirements
  • MBO+/ HBO work and thinking level or relevant experience;
  • By nature you are customer-oriented and dependability in maintaining strict customer confidentiality;
  • You are very accurate, flexible, able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment and you feel comfortable switching gears constantly;
  • You have good verbal and writing skills in English and German language;
  • You also have knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office applications;
  • Real team player with your own opinion;
  • Passionate and enthusiastic and is ready to take on a challenge;
  • Availible for 32-40 hours a week.
