As a key member of a multi-disciplinary development team, you spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of mechatronic concepts and models throughout their technical life cycle. Your role involves system analysis, design verification, collaboration with Senior Mechanical Designers and Senior Software Engineers, and overseeing third-party developments. Additionally, you contribute to test activities, offer guidance to engineers, and craft comprehensive Functional Descriptions and Design Specifications for Mechatronic Functional Blocks. Staying updated on the latest mechatronic trends, you explore innovative applications while occasionally conducting commissioning and servicing activities at international customer sites, requiring versatility and technical expertise.

Jouw werkzaamheden

Conduct system analysis, design, and verification for mechatronic concepts and models.
Collaborate closely with Senior Mechanical Designers and Senior Software Engineers to gather necessary information from all development disciplines.
Initiate and maintain contact with external parties, managing third-party developments integrated into the design.
Assist in test activities and meticulously document work.
Support mechanical, electrical, and software engineers by providing advice.
Craft Functional Descriptions and Design Specifications for Mechatronic Functional Blocks.
Stay updated on the latest mechatronic development trends and explore their application.
Occasionally conduct commissioning and servicing at international customer sites.

Gevraagd

Possess a Master’s degree in Mechatronics or a related field.
Have over 5 years of experience in product development.
Demonstrate extensive proficiency in MathWorks Matlab and Simulink.
Exhibit advanced skills in creating models using “Model Based Design” methodology.
Showcase strength in algebra and algorithms.
Emphasize a practical approach grounded in strong theoretical foundations.
Skilled in thinking across multiple disciplines.
Maintain basic knowledge of C coding language.
Display excellent organizational and communication skills, adept at interacting and collaborating with diverse team members and disciplines.
Fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
