Our client is a globally recognized Dutch nutrition enterprise that supplies dairy products to millions across the globe. Role Description
Your responsibilities include overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and serving as the primary liaison between project stakeholders. This Capex project has a large civil component, involving the construction of a new process building. Additionally, modifications are required for installations within the existing factory. Your main tasks involve supervising safe execution within the project’s planning, as well as monitoring the quality delivered and technical safety.
Responsibilities
-Enforce adherence to approved plans and instructions among contractors and suppliers.
-Conduct daily site inspections and promptly address safety concerns.
-Lead or participate in meetings with contractors on various project aspects.
-Coordinate construction logistics, including facilities, material routing, and permits.
-Manage the work permit system to ensure regulatory compliance.
-Provide directives to maintain safe and efficient work progress.
-Have the authority to halt work or remove personnel from the site for safety violations.
Requirements
MBO+/HBO level education in a technical discipline.
Minimum of 4 years of Construction Manager experience, preferably in Dairy/Food, Pharma, or Chemical sectors.
Strong project management and communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Prioritization of safety and adeptness in managing diverse workloads.
Personal attributes include decisiveness, analytical thinking, results-oriented approach, and a thorough understanding of various interests.
Holds VCA-VOL certification.
