Shipbuilding Engineer (Catia)

The Shipbuilding Engineer (Catia) designs the technical foundation for the construction of exclusive yachts.

• Developing technical designs for yacht structures that meet all company and quality requirements;
• Creating technical 3D drawings based on the design plans;
• Working on the complete construction of the yacht.

This client has already realized more than 200 unique yachts and has developed into a leading superyacht builder in recent years. No wish is too ambitious, and with a workforce of approximately 400 employees, they build with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

You have a passion for technological developments and a strong desire to continue learning and developing yourself as well as the company’s products.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, or a secondary vocational degree in Shipbuilding Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Experience in structural design within shipbuilding and/or yacht building;
• Extensive experience with CATIA and/or NX, as well as AutoCAD;
• A communicative, analytical, and deadline-driven working attitude;
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
• The eligibility to work in the Netherlands.

• A gross monthly salary between € 3500 en € 4200
