Production Employee - Mattress Recycling

Your responsibilities will include:

• Removing springs and other materials from mattresses;
• Separating and sorting different materials;
• Moving mattresses and production materials;
• Working with conveyor belts, sorting equipment and other production machinery;
• Keeping your workstation clean, organized and safe;
• Following all safety, health and work instructions;
• Wearing the required personal protective equipment.

The work may involve dust and noise, depending on the production department. You will receive clear instructions and internal training before starting.

• A full-time position of 40 hours per week;
• Fixed working hours from 06:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday;
• A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• 25 holiday days based on full-time employment;
• An overtime allowance of 130%;
• Internal training and clear safety instructions;
• The necessary protective equipment and work clothing;
• A practical job within a recycling-focused production environment;
• The possibility of long-term employment if both sides are satisfied.

• You are physically able to perform standing and repetitive work;
• You are comfortable lifting and moving light to moderately heavy materials;
• You work safely and follow instructions carefully;
• You are reliable, motivated and available full-time;
• You are willing to wear safety shoes, gloves, hearing protection and other required protective equipment;
• Experience in production, recycling or logistics is an advantage, but it is not required;
• You can communicate sufficiently in English and/or Dutch to understand work and safety instructions.

You will work for a company specializing in the sustainable processing and recycling of used mattresses. Different materials, including metal springs, foam and textiles, are separated so that they can be reused. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to an efficient production process and a more sustainable use of raw materials.
