Role Description

The global procurement department exist of more then 300 experts to drive business value across all sectors and regions. You will be working together with the procurement team leaders and focus on the procurement spend of their Business Groups Europe and Retail & Americas. Your primary objective is to optimize procurement performance by maximizing savings and delivering added value.

Responsibilities

-Take responsibility for the procurement of the supply chain and business groups

-Turn the business wants and needs into actions and set-up the procurement program and strategy

-Create a yearly action plan based on the global procurement strategy

-Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers while focusing on innovation, sustainability, and enhanced value.

-Act as a budget saving process owner and ensure that the business keep track of this.

-Actively look for process improvement and review the KPI’s and review the procurement performance

Requirements
-Extensive experience within global procurement
-Strong leadership skills and able to represent the procurement department
-Knowledge of regulations and market specifics across a large variety of European countries
-Well-developed commercial acumen and strong understanding of and ability to challenge business needs and translate them into key sourcing priorities

–Capability of implementing strategies customized to the particular circumstances
