We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a reputable Real Estate Development firm in Amsterdam. This person will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions and making decisions regarding payments. The ideal applicant will have an eye for detail, the ability to easily manage multiple projects at once, and an entrepreneurial spirit. This position has become available due to an internal promotion.
As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you'll:

• Review invoices for accuracy and timeliness, process payments, and record transactions to ensure proper accounting and tax filing.
• Reconciling balance sheets and troubleshoot discrepancies
• Play a key role in creating the month-end closing
• Inspect paid and unpaid invoice to maintain accurate files in compliance with company standards
• Have insight into how information flows within the company, and contributive to process improvements
• By regularly reviewing reports, you'll be able to anticipate obstacles early on and resolve them accordingly.
