The Grid Asset Liability Management (ALM) department is a diverse, dynamic and international environment. We have an open and social culture and value interpersonal at least as much as business and technical skills. You will get to work in:

Beschrijving

As a Junior Business Developer you are able to look at ALM challenges through the eyes of a stakeholder and come up with proposals to initiate, organize and realize the systems, processes and data that your DevOps team is responsible for. You will be able to advise and convince stakeholders of the best approach based on your knowledge and analytical expertise, and work closely with other business developers to achieve larger goals across different teams for the bank's ALM department.

Functie eisen

We are looking for someone with a proactive and constructively critical attitude who is not afraid to tackle challenges head on. Besides a healthy knowledge/interest in complex and analytical matters (which characterizes ALM), you should possess the following skill-set:         

• A basic understanding of finance
• Experienced with Excel, SQL and/or similar data analysis tools
• Ability to quickly grasp complex business flows at a high level
• Analytical mindset and willing to gain/expand Finance & Risk domain knowledge
• Willing to present and participate in workshops to exchange ideas and learn from each other
• Strong communicator with excellent command of English (both verbal and written)
• Supporting and collaborating with stakeholders and other departments
• Taking ownership and solving problems together with the team
• Able to work independently and stand firmly on your feet
• Have the drive to help your teammates

Traineeship via Finance Club 
For a whole year you will learn not only on the job but also through additional training sessions and courses facilitated entirely by the Finance Club. These include training sessions to further develop your substantive knowledge and also focus on soft skills development. Think of training in areas such as business development, banking, planning and agenda management, stakeholder management and more. In consultation with you, our happy manager and your manager at ABN AMRO,we will tailor the optimal curriculum for you.

Salary: €3.750 per month
