As an integral part of the Finance & Tax Department team, you'll work closely with the Finance & Tax Manager to support all financial activities, from day-to-day operations to assisting in monitoring business performance, preparing budgets, and managing financial risks. Once you have mastered the day-to-day financial operations, you will have the opportunity to support various projects or take the lead on initiatives. To be successful in this role, you'll need strong communication skills, an eagerness to learn, and confidence using IT and ERP tools. A hands-on attitude and willingness to support wherever and whenever necessary are also essential.

The key duties and responsibilities are:

• Support daily financial operations in the areas of purchase to pay, order to cash, budgeting and forecasting, as well as compliance matters;
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes;
• Review actual results compared with budget and update the rolling forecast accordingly;
• Assist with preparation for audits;
• Ensure timely preparation of budgetary analyses and presentations;
• Process purchase and purchase order invoices;
• Prepare payments and process bank transactions;
• Prepare service invoices and follow up on payments from customers;
• Prepare bank reconciliation reports and cash flow statements;
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses;
• Prepare the VAT returns;
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Gevraagd

BSc or MSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics;
Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Dutch language skills are considered a plus;
Living in the Netherlands;
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or administration;
Knowledge of IFRS is a plus;
Experience with SAP and BPC is an advantage;
Excellent skills in Excel;
Hands-on building mentality, willing and able to support where and when necessary.

Salary: €50,000 - €65,000 (incl. holiday allowance);
