This Social Media Manager role offers strategic and day-to-day tactical leadership of the assigned region. This person will be responsible for implementing, communicating and converting the marketing communications strategy to the internal team and external retail partners across the region. This person will receive the marketing communications strategy and guidelines from the EU marketing communications team based in Amsterdam!

Description

As Social Media Manager and part of the Benelux team, you will mainly:
  • Social Media Management: Monitor and manage social media channels, engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and foster meaningful interactions to build a loyal and active community.
  • Content Creation: Conceptualize, produce, and curate topical/reactive engaging and visually appealing content for all social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Ideally with the ability to create high-quality graphics, animations, videos, and other multimedia content that aligns with brand identity and resonates with target audiences.
  • Copywriting: Craft compelling and on-brand copy for social media posts, captions, and advertisements that captivate audiences and drive action.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to achieve specific marketing objectives and KPIs.
  • Market Co-ordination and Management: Being the point of contact for markets to communicate with regards to sharing content and local social strategy
  • Social Listening & Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into content strategy to keep the brand ahead of the curve and spot reactive opportunities
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI, and use insights to refine strategies and tactics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product to ensure alignment of social media efforts with overall brand initiatives and objectives.

Gevraagd

* Bachelor - or Master’s degree
* Knowledge of the E-commerce/Retail/Electronics sector
* At least 2 year of relevant experience in a similar position
* Ambitious, strong communicator and flexible
* Good time management and able to work independently
* Web-savvy, thorough understanding of social media and digital marketing is a pre
* Effective Planning & Organization skills
* Entrepreneurial spirit combined with corporate discipline
* 32 to 40 hours per week
* Fluency in Dutch and English, could be negotiable
