Join our team as a Microbiology Scientist and work on our projects dedicated to leading microbiological analysesat our internationally renowned partners. For this role, we're seeking someone experienced in collaborating with a team of experts, driving digestion processes, and supporting the implementation of advanced microbiological technologies.

As a Microbiology Scientist, your primary responsibility is to provide leadership in microbiology and promote advanced microbiological analyses. You'll support the evaluation, development, validation, and transfer of new microbiological technologies, including Rapid Microbiological Methods.

We are looking for Microbiology Scientist in and around Leiden, Utrecht and Amsterdam.

| Your Challenges?

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support the development and validation of Microbiological Methods for efficient implementation
• Performing microbial analyses and conducting comparability studies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Writing technical documents to document experimental procedures and results
• Providing technical support and assisting in troubleshooting for global locations on microbiological topics, while meeting regulatory requirements
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and robustness of microbiological processes and methodologies
• Contributing to the development and implementation strategies for advanced microbiological analyses, leveraging internal and external networks to promote innovation and best practices

| What do we expect from you?

• A bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Microbiology, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
• 1+ year(s) of industry experience, preferably in Microbiological Quality Control, and knowledge of GMP functions
• Professional level of English and basic knowledge of Dutch
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and ability to work independently, as well as excellent organizational skills
• Professional and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with teams, departments, and levels within the company
• Practical experience with microbiological methods and techniques.
