This is what you will do

As the Senior Business Controller within the Business Control unit of the Finance Cluster, your primary responsibility is to lead the financial and strategic planning for the IT Business Unit. You work closely with the CIO and management of the IT Business Unit and the Operational Control Manager within Business Control. This role involves developing actionable management information to effectively manage and control the It business operations and investments. Consequently, you directly contribute to Odido's financial objectives and value-driven investments.

Result areas:

• Responsible for the financial and strategic planning process of the IT Business Unit within Odido and reporting of management information to the CIO and management of IT, and to ExCo and shareholders via the FP&A department within governance guidelines.
• Responsible for analyzing financial performance, trends, assessing development and create actionable management information to manage and control IT Business Unit.
• Provide support, advice and perspective to CIO and management of IT, participate in strategic projects and evaluate, challenge and create scenario’s.
• Drive cost savings programs to align the company with the changing environment, drive performance through active involvement in and approval of projects and assure optimal use of CAPEX.

Due to vacation, we may not be able to respond as promptly as usual. We will resume scheduling interviews from May 13 onwards.

You bring this

• Bachelor/ University educational working and thinking level;
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Business Control positions. Experience in dealing with senior management;
• Affinity with IT and project control;
• Proven change management skills and experience within a fast paced and large (international) company. 
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, data analysis and forecasting. 
• Excellent communication skills and able to translate complex financial information effectively.
