This is what you will do

​​The department Network Office is accountable for execution and planning of the roadmap activities including prioritization within Network & Operations department. This includes financial planning and follow-up in cooperation with Finance controlling, resource planning and all business initiatives coming from the mass market and enterprise​ departments in alignment with the target IT and Network architecture and Portfolio management. Process owner of the network and operations department. 

Main goal of the function 

​​The role of Network Governance support is to : 

  • ​Manage impediments, dependencies, issues and risks on Network department deliverables, program deliverables and alignment between departments (specifically IT and Business) based on Finances, resources, priorities and timelines agreed. 
  • ​Manage with Line management, Product owners, resource planners, project managers & project owners, product managers, scrum masters to align on department level the Network delivery of solutions and services requested for both Financially, in Priority (in alignment with other department for instance IT and Business), resource availability, and timely implementation 
  • ​Coordinate and lead the technology cadence PI planning (definition, slicing and scoping) to assure that the network projects and activities are delivered in time, within the budget and having resources assigned and available. 
  • ​Ensure that budget allocation and utilization is in line with the technology roadmap, priorities and backlog 
  • ​Manage and report on a monthly/weekly basis the status and progress for finance, network deliveries, project in execution and resource assignment and availability. 
  • ​Take timely measures to solve blocking issues (resource, budget, decisions) by involving the correct stakeholders (PM’s, Corporate portfolio LT, Exco level) 
  • ​Communicate and align pro-actively within the network department and all other stakeholders (e.g. finance, business, etc) resulting in a aligned implementation, financial and resource roadmap for the network departments. 
  • ​Lead the decision making process by building scenarios in coordination with financial status, business and internal demand, priorities and resources available.

​​​Strategy & Policy: 

  • ​Manage the delivery or the network roadmap activities and projects within budget, in order of priority, on time,  and quality constraints 

​Yearplan & Budget: 

  • ​Creates/monitors progress for departmental year plan. 
  • ​Deliver the department Opex & Capex budget reporting and monitoring and align on mitigation actions where needed. 
  • ​Actively seek for efficiency within the department and managing yearly cost improvement/synergy initiatives 
  • ​Support and initiates projects within year plan, monitors funding, resources in alignment with Finance 
  • ​Report and monitor on the Technology Lifecycle Management 

Business partner: 

  • ​Contact within Network technology for business for both mass market and enterprise related to planning, priority, budget and resources. 
  • ​Ensure and monitor internal and external key stakeholder satisfaction.​​

You bring this

Some things you cannot learn at university; you possess them by nature. Your core personality is empathic, decisive, humorous, people focused, authentic, and honest. You embrace challenges and are eager to grow. These are traits we are looking for not only in managerial positions, but in every layer of Odido’s organization.​​

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably within Techncical/IT, Business Admin, or Business Information 
  • ​At least 5 years experience as a portfolio manager, product manager, program manager or equivalent function to align and report on department level  
  • ​Lead and influence staff and work teams, in broad functional areas to solve complex and diverse issues. 
  • ​Able to negotiate internally and convince at more senior levels. 
  • ​Knowledge of (Portfolio) planning processes and standards, Agile and Project Management methodologies  
  • ​Excellent knowledge of budget setting and financial management and planning 
  • ​Good technical/functional expertise and broad knowledge of the business and their key processes, way of working and organization
  • Experience with portfolio management tooling (Jira and/or Service now) strongly preferred
  • ​Organization sensitivity Collaboration Influencing
