As CFD Engineer you will be responsible for analysing and optimising gas/fluid flows using CFD and other related tools with your team of pears. You will be working on a variaty of projects for different customers in the area with which you will cooperate closely and take a proactive stance in the design process. Basically, you are on the forefront of helping customers within the hightech industry in solving their bottlenecks within the CFD field and beyond.
- Use CFD software to analyse and optimise gas & fluid flows;
- Identification of the relation between flow behaviour and system performance;
- Execute assignments in cooperation with customers and have a pro-active role in the design process;
- Make recommendations regarding new development and design;
- You will become a generalist for projects and a specialist for the company in the field of CFD engineering
Gevraagd
- Academic MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics or Aerospace engineering;
- Work experience would be a big plus, however relevant projects and interships are also great to have;
- Experience in CFD tools, preferably in STAR-CCM+ and ANSYS Fluent;
- Knowledge of flow-related physics topics, like convective heat transfer, diffusion, turbulence, rarefied gas flow (low pressures) and chemistry are preferred;
- You can present your results and clarify your analyses for other stakeholders and convince them of your recommendations;
- You are a team player, but can also work independently.
