| Your challenges?

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to advancing expertise in mechanical engineering.
  • Project Coordination: Initiate and coordinate outsourced projects, fostering relationships with development partners for successful mechanical development projects.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients, presenting and justifying mechanical design choices, and involving them in crucial development activities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, group leads, and engineers from various competence groups to ensure project success.
  • International Customer Base: Maintain strong relationships with international clients in high-tech industries, including Semicon, Solar, and Medical.
  • Competency Growth and Recruitment: Drive competency growth and recruitment, identifying talent and fostering the development of mechanical competencies within the team.
  • Review and Release: Assume responsibility for the review and release of mechanical deliverables, ensuring they meet required quality standards.

  • Educational Background: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of five to ten years in a leadership position within a high-end multidisciplinary development environment.
  • Technological Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest mechanical technologies and demonstrate a strong drive to apply them in projects.
  • Proactive and Analytical: Possess a proactive and analytical mindset, with a "can-do" attitude to tackle complex mechanical challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are vital for collaboration in an international setting.
  • Quality Assurance: Experience with quality assurance and reliability in mechanical engineering is an asset.
