The Process Engineer Hydrogen LNG is accountable for all conventional aspects of process engineering. This position entails using process simulation software, like Design II or Aspen HYSYS, in conjunction with process flow diagrams (PFDs) to conduct thermodynamic calculations. These calculations are subsequently translated into specifications.
During plant production for sustainable hydrogen, the engineer confirms that construction adheres to the design documents and collects component certifications. Ensuring accurate representation of the as-built structure in the process engineering design documents is a critical facet of this role.
- Generating process design simulations, PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), Utility Load Lists, and Equipment Lists. Engaging in project teams and assuming the role of project leader for dispenser and payment terminal development;
- Executing, testing, and producing documentation as an integral part of the product development process;
- Supporting various departments such as R&D, Procurement, and Sales;
- Contribute to the development of future sustainable hydrogen and the global effort to decarbonize the planet using your engineering skills.
Gevraagd
- A Bachelor’s or University Degree in Process Engineering or a related field is required;
- A minimum of five years of work experience is necessary;
- Experience in process engineering calculations, including hydraulics, relief valves, design pressures and temperatures, vessel design, etc., is crucial;
- In-depth familiarity with Aspen HYSYS or Design II is a must;
- Previous project experience in sectors such as Hydrogen, LNG, Specialty Chemicals, among others, is advantageous.
- A good command of both Dutch and English languages is preferred;
- In-depth technical understanding (particularly with Hydrogen and LNG);
- A team player capable of independently leading and executing projects (with a focus on processes);
- Strong communication abilities Flexibility, creativity, initiative-taking, and a readiness to shoulder responsibilities;
- Willingness to travel.
