ABOUT THE POSITION
The Sr. Process Engineer plays an important role in the delivery of SYNOVA’s technology to its customers, which includes the delivery of Feasibility Studies, Licensor Process Design Packages and Commissioning and Start-up Support. The Sr. Process Engineer will be responsible for the realization of certain well-defined deliverables in one or more projects, guiding and cooperating with engineering colleagues and aligning with customers and suppliers.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will be part of an international team that works under the direction of the assigned project managers. Your functional manager will be the EVP Engineering & Projects.

The main responsibilities of the Senior Project Engineer are:

• To lead the realization of project deliverables in accordance with the project plan. The project deliverables include PFD’s, P&ID’s, Specifications, Datasheets, Process simulation (ASPEN), modeling, and design calculations.
• To coordinate activities with the team and align the work with client and external parties.
• Coach and train junior staff, supervise and review design documentation.
• Support the commissioning and start-up of new plants and the optimization of operational performance.
• Advise and support the SYNOVA Research and Development team.

YOUR PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in chemical engineering, more than 5 years of experience process engineering, and you know how to design a process.
• You like to work in an international environment, you are eager to solve and to learn.
• You are a team player, passionate to coach your teammates, taking responsibility, and having an eye on the targets.
• Fluent in English language and good communication skills.
• Software Skills: Aspen Tech and MS Office
