For one of our clients providing innovative offshore solutions, we are looking for a Process Engineer to ensure engineering designs are properly translated into drawings, data sheets, and other documents. As process engineering is a crucial aspect of this project, it's important to prioritise assigned activities to ensure consistent progress towards meeting key project milestones.

Tasks & responsibilities: 

• Complete Assigned Activities: 
  • Understand, plan, and complete tasks accurately and on time.
  • Discuss details with the Discipline Lead to avoid surprises. 
  • Create engineering documents that clearly show the design.
  • Follow engineering codes, standards, and procedures.
  • Work proactively with the Discipline Lead and team to solve issues. 
  • Seek guidance when needed and suggest solutions for challenges. 
  • Review your work carefully before submitting it. 
  • Plan your work to allow time for accurate document checks. 
• Effective Interface Management: 
  • Understand how your tasks affect other areas.
  • Share timely and accurate input with other disciplines.
  • Keep the Discipline Lead informed and prioritise tasks for milestones. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for smooth project delivery. 
  • Make sure documents are clear and organised. 
  • Coordinate with vendors and others for timely document reviews. 
  • Support other disciplines with accurate input. 
• Manage Changes Successfully: 
  • Alert the Discipline Lead to issues and understand change impact. 
  • Offer suggestions if changes affect project goals. 
  • Manage your time to meet key milestones.
  • Communicate changes clearly through proper channels.
  • Be adaptable and flexible with implementing changes.
  • Use Management of Change procedures for positive project impact. 
• Ensure Quality Deliverables:
  • Motivate yourself to improve your technical skills.
  • Share industry updates for ongoing improvement. 
  • Work consistently and follow applicable codes and standards. 
  • Apply lessons learned for better efficiency and best practices. 
  • Organise and document your work for easy understanding. 
  • Check your work thoroughly before submission to maintain quality.

Gevraagd

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. 
• Prior experience in process engineering within the oil & gas industry or related field.
• Knowledge of offshore operations and facilities is a plus!
• Proficiency in process simulation software (such as Aspen HYSYS or similar). 
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations for process design. 
• Ability to develop and analyse process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Experience in sizing and specifying process equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and separators. 
• Understanding of process safety concepts, including hazard identification and risk assignment. 
• Knowledge of environmental regulations related to offshore oil & gas operations.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ability to troubleshoot process issues and suggest practical solutions. 
• Adaptability to handle changes in project requirements or unexpected challenges. 
• Commitment to developing accurate and high-quality process engineering documents.
