We are looking for a Process Engineer to design, optimise, and implement processes and equipment used in the production and treatment of oil and gas on offshore floating production systems. The main focus is ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with environmental standards.

Tasks & responsibilities: 

• Optimise the process design for offshore floating production systems, ensuring they meet the necessary efficiency, safety, and environmental standards. 
• Use your knowledge and experience of engineering principles and procedures to complete assigned process engineering activities. 
• Ensure that the engineering design is accurately translated into drawings, data sheets, and other documentation maintaining clarity and precision. 
• Prioritise assigned activities effectively to address the critical path of the project, ensuring continued progress and adherence to key project milestones. 
• Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to integrate process engineering solutions within the overall project design. 
• Conduct technical analyses and simulations to validate process design choices and optimise system performance. 
• Stay updated on advancements in process engineering technologies and methodologies, applying best practices to project work. 
• Participate in project meetings, providing process engineering insights and updates to project managers and team members. 
• Respond to technical queries related to the process design, offering solutions to engineering challenges encountered during project execution.  
• Support the development and implementation of engineering standards and procedures within the process engineering discipline. 

Gevraagd

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. 
• Prior experience in process engineering within the oil & gas industry or related field.
• Knowledge of offshore operations and facilities is a plus!
• Proficiency in process simulation software (such as Aspen HYSYS or similar). 
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations for process design. 
• Ability to develop and analyse process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Experience in sizing and specifying process equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and separators. 
• Understanding of process safety concepts, including hazard identification and risk assignment. 
• Knowledge of environmental regulations related to offshore oil & gas operations.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ability to troubleshoot process issues and suggest practical solutions. 
• Adaptability to handle changes in project requirements or unexpected challenges. 
• Commitment to developing accurate and high-quality process engineering documents.
