What is your role?
In this position you - together with your (international) colleagues - are responsible for the daily control, security management and support of our digital products in a third-line position. This function is housed within the Digital Operations Center (DOC), a team that is responsible end-to-end; from the PC on the dairy farm to the cloud platforms in Azure.

You maintain contacts with Lely regional offices and colleagues in Product Development - from product specialists to product developers - all over the world. All in all, this is an extremely versatile position, with great growth opportunities and ample opportunities for personal development.

Your role:
After internal training, you provide third-line support for questions, problems and bugs regarding our digital products such as Lely Horizon. Lely Horizon is the management system developed by Lely itself for modern dairy farming. Horizon collects all data from the various Lely products used at the company. You can think of the milking robot, feeding robot and manure robot.

You delve into complex technical issues by gathering relevant information from the field, analyzing the root cause of common problems and testing variables and scenarios. Your colleagues from Product Development appreciate your analysis and way of thinking; the joint focus is on improving the products through a solution-oriented approach.

You occasionally visit a Lely branch to build a good relationship with colleagues abroad.

What is your experience?
You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in IT and would like to contribute to a revolution. We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:

• Bachelor’s level with a technical/IT background, obtained through education or work experience.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Lean methodologies.
• Creative team player with an open mindset.
• Experience with database systems such as SQL.
• Knowledge and experience in documenting steps taken.
• You are currently living in the Netherlands with a valid work permit and have a fluent command (oral and written) of English.
• After the internal training, you are prepared to work 24/7 hotline duty (one day every nine days).
• Good analytical and problem-solving qualities.
• Proactive attitude.
