Do you have experience in creating engineering and design documentation for Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) systems using E3D software? Can you ensure that E&I systems are designed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations?

For one of our clients, an engineering firm, we are looking for an E&I E3D Designer.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Designing and modeling E&I systems using E3D software, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and other documentation. 
• Collaborate with Project Engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that the E&I systems meet the project requirements and standards. 
• Ensure that the designs comply with applicable codes and regulations. 
• Perform material takeoffs and create a bill of materials (BOM) to ensure that the correct materials are ordered for the project. 
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the E&I systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall project. 
• Conduct site visits to collect data and perform surveys for the design and modelling of E&I systems. 
• Review and check designs and documentation produced by other team members or contractors. 
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, such as Junior Designers and Drafters.
• Participate in design reviews and other project meetings.
• Stay up to date with the latest E&I technologies and best practices. 

Gevraagd

• At least 3 years of experience working for an engineering company. 
• Experience in greenfield E&I 3D detailed design. 
• Experience with HV substations design. 
• Proficient in 3D modelling of cable trays, E&I cabinets/panels, E&I field equipment and support. 
• Proficient in 3D modelling of HV/MV cables and related support. 
• Familiar with LV distribution design. 
• Familiar with automation and telecommunication design.
