We are looking for an E&I Designer to design and implement control and automation solutions for various EPC projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Develop basic and detailed drawings for technical installations and instrumentation.
• Provide support to the Senior E&I Designer or the E&I Engineering team in handling technical correspondence.
• Collaborate closely with other designers and departments to facilitate the seamless implementation of projects.
• Take responsibility for monitoring project planning and execution, overseeing both technical drawings and constructive implementation. 
• Serve as a vital link during the design phase, actively seeking the optimal technical solutions for each project.
• Translate conceptual ideas into detailed technical designs, potentially leading the selection of instruments and preparing specification sheets based on customer requirements (sometimes under the guidance of an Instrument Engineer).
• Identify and engage with suppliers and subcontractors, participating in technical discussions with end-customers.
• Consider cost-effectiveness and maintenance aspects while designing installations.

Gevraagd

• Proficient in AutoCAD for creating technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills in English, and knowledge of Dutch is a plus! 
• Background in Instrumentation and Control Systems (I&CS) design.
• Ability to support and collaborate with other engineers and various departments. 
• Experience in project planning and execution, ensuring effective implementation. 
• Must hold a VCA Certificate, demonstrating knowledge of health and safety regulations. 
• Strong in translating concepts into technical designs and selecting instruments. 
• Familiarity with engaging suppliers and subcontractors, and participating in technical discussions.
