We are looking for a passionate Biosystem Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Biosystem Engineer you will play a crucial role in translating customer requirements into concrete and feasible automation concepts. You will work closely with the sales team and plant science team to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Main responsibilities are:

Partnership Collaboration: Working closely with partners to enhance and upgrade existing automation systems, enabling the introduction of new processes, crops, and varieties. This involves providing quality input, understanding developments and opportunities, and aligning efforts with commercial objectives.

Continuous Platform Improvement: Driving organizational efforts to optimize current technology, reduce operational costs, and innovate new ideas to elevate the breeding and tissue culture platform. This includes proposing and implementing improvements aligned with the platform’s vision, ensuring goal achievement within set time, budget, and quality parameters, and realizing improvement actions.

Understanding Solutions and Implementing Improvements: Utilizing knowledge of available possibilities and solutions, proposing enhancements, and implementing changes that align with the platform’s vision while ensuring the realization of goals within specified constraints.

• You have an MSc. Biosystems Engineering, BSc. Plant Sciences or Plant Breeding.
• You have relevant work experience in an technical/sales environment.
• You like to travel regularly to visit our customers.
• Working independently is not a problem for you.
• You have good communication skills and are highly customer-oriented.
• You are solution-oriented and analytical.
• You can speak and write in English.
